OUR MISSION
To provide opportunities for our community members to embrace, engage, and enhance the Thousand Islands Region through volunteerism, leadership development, and establishing relationships to promote a positive overall quality of life
WHAT WE DO
As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, TIYLO has two main purposes: to work together for the betterment of our communities in the 1000 Islands Region and for the personal development of the young leaders and community members who reside here.
TIYLO was first formed in 2008 by a group of young professionals in the Clayton area who wanted to make an impact in their community. Since its inception TIYLO has continued to evolve and has grown to include members of the broader 1000 Islands communities including Hammond, Alexandria Bay, and Cape Vincent.
Over the years TIYLO has hosted many series' of events including: The River Rat Triathlon, Memorial Day Daffodil Plantings, "Green Fest" in honor of Earth Day, an Upstate Ice Jam, a wintertime Reindeer Run, Community Service Days, Haunted Houses and Volunteer Fairs. Today, TIYLO maintains two signature fundraisers that continue to grow each year: our Annual Christmas Masquerade Ball, held the first weekend of December, as well as our Annual Golf Tournament.
We invite you to become actively involved with these two main events-- the chief goal of them is to raise important funds for numerous charitable causes that have a direct impact in the lives of friends and families in need, who are a part of our communities. With your help, we can continue to create enjoyable and rewarding experiences for those who choose to live and volunteer in the 1000 Islands!

MEETING SCHEDULE
TIYLO meets on every third Wednesday of the month and on many occasions, we decide to meet over dinner at a local establishment to spice things up! From October through December, meetings are more frequent to plan for our signature event, the Annual Christmas Masquerade Ball.
All are welcomed and encouraged to become involved in the betterment of our communities! To join us at our next get-together, please contact: info@tiylo.org
